When there is a death of an employee or Board member or a member of his or her immediate family (mother, father, husband, wife, or child), the Board of Trustees authorizes a memorial be provided in the memory of the deceased person. The employee may choose one of the following:
● The purchase of a memorial book to be placed in the college library and paid for from the funds of the general budget.
● A donation of $50 to the Pratt Community College Foundation for scholarships.
A card of sympathy and explanation of the above procedures shall be mailed to the family.
