Testing and Placement of Students

The administration will have in place an assessment and placement procedure designed to assure proper placement of students in courses appropriate for ability levels. In addition, a graduate exit assessment process will be in place for all associate degree students so that student academic learning can be monitored and documented. The individual student results of the graduate exit assessment will be placed on the student transcript. Completion of the exit assessment is a graduation requirement. Assessment and placement procedures will be consistent with the philosophy and mission of the college and be endorsed by the Board of Trustees.
