PCC Foundation

The mission of Pratt Community College Foundation is to promote access to higher education in south central Kansas and to advance institutional excellence through financial support.

 

The Foundation exists as a separate 501(c)3 non-profit organization responsible for college advancement, alumni relations, and stewardship of the college's endowment fund. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Rose received scholarship because of accomplishments at PCC

 
In the early 1970’s track wasn’t a popular sport for women to participate in. For that reason, Tami Rose was the only female on the Pratt Community College track team from 1972-1974.
 
Along with participating in track, Rose was also on the volleyball and basketball teams and a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an academic honor society.

Bergsten changes careers after 25 years as loan officer

After 25 years of being a loan officer for banks and mortgage companies, Bruce Bergsten decided to go back to school.

PCC courses help Goyen succeed

Statistics show that the average person, with or without a college degree, will switch careers an average of seven to 10 times, according to the National Department of Labor.

Deb Goyen is an exception, having been at her job since she graduated college in 1975.

Searles Named 2012 Outstanding Alumnus

Joseph (Joe) Searles III, came to Pratt Junior College from Ft. Hood, Texas in the fall 1959 on a football scholarship. PJC didn’t have a successful season in 1959, but Searles returned the following year, and became the All American and All Conference football player at the half back position in 1960, under Coach Floyd Huggins.
