The Pratt Athletic Department is proud to announce the hiring of Jerrid Schicke as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach for the 2010 season. Schicke began his soccer career at Independence, Kansas.  While there, he was the leading scorer and team captain for the 4A Bulldogs. He went on to play at Bethel College, helping the Threshers to a Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) championship appearance.

Schicke was the team's second leading scorer before a medical setback sidelined him for two seasons.

Schicke resumed his college career as the captain of Coffeyville Community College’s inaugural soccer team in 2005. After a strong year competing in the Jayhawk Conference, Schicke transferred to the University of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, for the 2006 and 2007 seasons. Schicke recorded seven goals and six assists in his collegiate career and graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in Spring 2008.

After graduation, Schicke spent two seasons as Assistant Coach for the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Independence Community College. The men’s team received the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference’s All-Academic Team honors for the 2008 season.
