Wrestling Takes Third at Regionals, Sends Seven to Nationals

The PCC Wrestling Team took third at Regionals on Saturday in Colby, Kansas, and in the process qualified seven wrestlers for the National Tournament. Saturday's results represented the best Regionals finish since Pratt started their program in 2006. Pratt also achieved their first Regional Champion, Ralph Major at 184.
"All I can say is that we wrestled fantastically this weekend," said Head Coach Brook Medrano. "I am extremely proud of all of these young men, and I am truly honored to be their coach. Hopefully this good wrestling carries over to the national tournament."
The seven wrestlers headed to Nationals in Des Moines, IA on Feb. 26-27 are: Jesse Barber (125), Ramon Willis (141), Chris Wright (149), Travis Budke (165), Alex Feldkamp (174), Ralph Major (184), Tyler Downs (197).
