Zahradnik Exhibit in The Delmer Riney Art Gallery

Gordon and Rae Zahradnik are currently exhibiting paintings and ceramics in the Delmar Riney Art Gallery at Pratt Community College until March 12, 2010. The Zahradniks, who are husband and wife, call their exhibit "A Life of Art."
 
They are both retired art teachers with a real zest for life and art. Gordon taught at Sterling College for many years and was hired by the Wichita Public Schools to help develop, design, plan and teach at the Northeast Magnet Fine Arts High School. Rae has taught and supervised Elementary School Art at Russell and Wichita and also taught classes at Sterling College. 
 
Both are outstanding professional artists. They continue their creative pursuits in their home studio and gallery located 2 and ¾ miles west of Lyons, on highway 56. Both are very active in Kansas Arts organizations. They exhibit and win awards in local, state, regional and national exhibitions and have even shown at the Governor’s Mansion.
