Kornbrust, DeRouen Named All-Conference

Third baseman Joe Kornbrust and first baseman Trey DeRouen were named to the 2010 All-Jayhawk Conference honorable mention team. The two Beaver sluggers were selected to the team by the conference's head coaches.
Joe Kornbrust, a sophomore third basemen from Lawrence, Kansas, was named honorable mention All-Jayhawk Conference. Kornbrust hit .335 for the Beavers, including 16 doubles, eight homeruns, and 48 RBI. Kornbrust was joined on the honorable mention team with Trey DeRouen, a sophomore first basemen from Abbeville, Louisiana. DeRouen batted .321, including a team-leading 18 doubles, 10 homeruns and 54 RBI.
