Annual student art exhibit being displayed at PCC
Now showing in the Delmar Riney Art Gallery is the Annual Pratt Community College Student Art Exhibit.
Starting on April 11 the exhibit will be open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 6. Graphic design, 2-D design, drawing, ceramics and digital photography classes have all contributed work to this showing.
There is a large number of quality photographs this year from the night classes taught by Stan Reimer this spring. Design class instructors Jon Patton and Jennifer Barten have contributed both hands on and computer generated student graphics to the exhibit. Marsha Shrack’s Ceramics I and II and drawing classes have varied and exciting new projects on display.
“This has been a transitional year for the art department but the students, as always, have come through with an excellent exhibit,” Shrack said.
Shrack said projects will continue to be added as final projects are completed.
“The last projects are usually the best,” Shrack said.
