Softball Drops Three in Conference Play

The Lady Beavers dropped two games to Cowley County Community College on Tuesday and fell to Neosho County Community College in a make-up game Wednesday.
 
The Lady Beavers battled mental mistakes in game one against Cowley.  Ashley Stockomer, a freshman from Wichita, led the offense going two for four in the 4-2 loss for the Beavers.  Liz Wahl, freshman pitcher from Westminster, Colo., was in the circle for Pratt allowing just seven hits in the loss.  In game two, the Beavers failed to bounce back from the game one loss.  The Beavers fell once again at the hands of Cowley 8-0
 
On Wednesday, Pratt traveled to Neosho for a make-up game from earlier in the season.  Wahl was in the circle again for the Lady Beavers allowing just four hits and striking out four in the 2-0 loss.  Derian Weber, freshman outfielder from Wellington led the offense going two for four.  However, the Beavers were once again unable to push a run across and fell dropping them the seventh in the Region standings.
