Softball Drops Two Ending Season

The Lady Beavers fell this weekend to Cowely County and Allen County to end their season. 
 
Against Cowely, Kiersten Howell, freshman utility player from Wellington, lead the offensive going two for four.  Liz Wahl, freshman pitcher from Westminster, Colo., and Samantha Rice, freshman pitcher from Topeka, split the pitching duties for Pratt.  Combined Wahl and Rice allowed just five hits but had five errors behind them on defense.  Cowley defeated the Beavers 4-1.
 
Pratt would face Allen County in game two of the day.  Molly Baker, freshman from Rose Hill, led the offense going two for four.  The Wah, Rice, Howell, and Katie Luna, freshman pitcher from Topeka, all split the pitching duties against Allen County.  Combined the staff gave up eleven hits in the 8-4 loss ending the Lady Beavers season.
