PCC racecar wins Macksville car show
The Pratt Community College auto department’s racecar took first place in the Macksville car show over Labor Day weekend.
The 2001 two frame chasey Mustang drag racecar started the parade for the Macksville 125 birthday party and then entered into the car show, for the same celebration.
“It’s a great way to promote PCC and the auto program,” said Daryl Lucas, auto instructor. “It allows people to see the car and what find out more about the program.”
The racecar took first in the car show, which Lucas said is a testimony to the program.
“Not very many people can say that they have built a racecar from scratch and the guys in my program can,” he said.
