Lady Beaver Soccer falls to Johnson County

Release Date:
Thursday, October 13, 2011

Pratt Community College’s Lady Beavers Soccer team traveled to Johnson County Community College Tues., Oct. 11 to face off against the Cavaliers. The girls were equal to the task, but struggled connecting scoring passes in the final third. Johnson capitalized on their chances and Pratt did not. The final tally was 6-0 Johnson County. Alyssa Kinkelaar, Kayci Huslig and Gemma Whitehead had shots on the goal, and Holly Harrod beat the defense and was awarded a penalty kick for her efforts, but we couldn’t put it away.

The Girls will be playing at home Fri., Oct. 14 at 3 p.m. and again Sun., Oct. 16 at 2p.m. (against #5 Butler Community College). The Lady Beavers are sitting just outside of playoffs with two conference games left to earn a few more points.
