Men’s Soccer Makes Playoffs for Second Year

The Pratt Community College Men’s Soccer Team has qualified for the Region VI Play-offs for the second year in a row. The program was started in 2010 and has made the play-offs every year of its existence.
 
PCC will host Northwestern Technical College on Sun., Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. The winner will advance in the tournament and will play #1 seed, Cloud County Community College, on Tues., Oct. 25 in Concordia.
 
“We have such a great bunch of kids who have battled through so much to establish this program from the very start makes me proud,” said Kurt McAfee, PCC Athletic Director. “The initial group of sophomores have been special but we have a great core of Freshman and bar has been raised.”
 
Men’s Soccer Coach, Kevin Kewley, is very thankful for the season.
 
“I would like to thank everyone for their effort this season, especially the sophomores, who have laid a great foundation for the Men’s Soccer Program here at Pratt CC,” Kewley said. “These guys will be a tough act to follow.”
