Lady beavers get defeated 65-82

The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team hosted Northern Oklahoma College, Nov. 8.
The Beavers were defeated 65-82.
 
“The Beavers had a tough one last night against a very hot shooting Enid team,” said Stephanie Thompson, head coach.
 
According to Thompson, the Jets got started early and sent the Beavers to half-time down 24-42.
 
“If there was a bright spot it came late in the second half when the Beavers put together a nice run to cut the deficient to 12,” Thompson said.
 
Cari Guyton finished the night with 17 points and six rebounds and Ann Pauly had 14 points. Hannah Mehl also put together her best minutes of the season.
 
With the lose the Beavers move to 3-1 on the season and will face Sterling Friday at 6 p.m. in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena.
