Acting class and Encore!

Dec. 9 the acting class as well as Encore! performed at Southwest Elementary School. This was an all school assembly so more than 400 students K-4 were in attendance. The acting class performed “Mother Goose’s Christmas Party”, a short play they have been working on as a cast for a few weeks. After that, Encore! sang their Christmas set. This show was funded by a grant Misty Beck wrote to the South Central Kansas Community Foundation. The grant allowed for the college to purchase the few items needed for our set and to get “gifts” (pencils) to leave for all 400+ students.
