PCC auto department host car show
The annual Pratt Community College car show will take place on Feb. 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This year’s car show will feature 12 cars, which are all different makes and models, including a few Jackson Sand Dune Buggies. Along with the cars, there will also be one 40 foot twin engine boat.
People who come to the event are able to vote on which of the vehicles is their favorite and at the end of the day awards will be given out.
“This event wouldn’t be possible without the community support,” said Greg Bacon, auto instructor. “All of the owners have something to do with the college.”
This event goes along with Academic Olympics that takes place on PCC’s campus for high school students. The college will have 22 high schools on campus and over 800 high school students on campus to take test and be involved in different contest.
