Beavers fight the heat to defeat Hesston 3-1

The Men’s Soccer Team hosted Hesston College on Thursday, Sept. 6. On another hot afternoon, the Beavers labored to a 3-1 victory.
With goals from Javier “Gordo” Rodriquez , Braulio Morales and Gordie MacNab, the team found itself with the lead as time expired.
Both Colter Hawks, playing in his first game of the season, and goalkeeper Scott Robertson were each credited with an assist.
This victory moves the Beavers to 3-2 on the season.
Next up for the Beavers is an away match against nationally ranked Cloud Community College next Tuesday.
