Agriculture Power Technology

The Agricultural Power Technology (APT) program is an Associate of Applied Science Degree that prepares students for a career as an agricultural technician. The APT program consists of classroom/lab courses as well as a paid internship that comprises half the program. In addition to the Associate of Applied Science degree, APT offers a Bachelor of Science in Technology Leadership in cooperation with FHSU. The program was designed by service technicians and with state of the art equipment and experienced faculty, the students receive the highest degree of educational training towards their career pursuit. The program is supported by major companies such as John Deere, Case/IH, New Holland, Caterpillar and AGCO with 86 statewide dealerships and providing internship options.

The APT program guarantees 100 percent placement for Associate and Bachelor degree receiving students. The average starting salary for these students is $32,000.
