Requirements:
- Must be nominated
- Be a current student at an accredited U.S. community college or 2 year institution with sophomore status OR be a recent graduate (since spring 2003)
- Plan to transfer to a four-year college or universtiy to begin sutdies in the fall 2008
- Have a cumulative college GPA of a 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)
- Not previously have been nominated
