As a member of the tradition-rich Jayhawk West Conference, the PCC Men’s Basketball Team, with head coach Jesse Shaw, will look to establish itself as an annual contender for the conference and regional championship. The  coaching staff here at PCC prides themselves in their ability to recruit talented, quality individuals to represent the school and community. PCC Basketball also takes pride in molding their student-athletes into next-level caliber players on the court, and men ready for life off of it.

Beavers tie for sixth in conference

On Feb. 27 the basketball team played Colby at home on Sophomore night. Coach Jesse Shaw said it was bittersweet to hug Sean Michaelson, Devin Callon and Aaron Abram for the last time in our home uniforms, but their heart and intensity would not be denied by the Trojans to finish the regular season.

Beaver lose in OT to number six ranked team

The Beaver men’s basketball team had the number six ranked Hutchinson Blue Dragons down for almost the entire game Feb. 24 in the Beaver Dome, but did not have them down when it mattered most.

Beavers win by more than 20

On Feb. 13 in the Beaver Dome was the first time during Jesse Shaw's two years as head coach that the Beavers beat a Jayhawk West opponent by more than 20 points.

Beavers Battle Butler, PCC 52 - Butler 60

Your Beaver men’s basketball team faced a tough challenge in taking on the Butler Grizzlies in El Dorado. The game was a physical, back and forth affair, tied at halftime, and never featured more than a 6 point lead, for either team, until Butler hit crucial free throws at the end to stretch it to a final score of 52-60 Butler. PCC is now 14-13 on the year, and 4-9 in...more »

Beavers win against 69-65

Your Beaver men’s basketball team loves to give it’s coaches and fans heart problems, but on Monday night in Dodge City it was alright, because the final score read 69-65 Beavers.
 
The team moved to 13-12 on the year, and 3-8 in conference.
