PCC Volleyball Wins Opening Tournament

The PCC Volleyball Team took first place at the Lamar Community College season opening Runnin’ Lopes Invitational last weekend. The #18 ranked Beavers went 5-1 for the two day tournament, Juliana Chavez, Kalie Mader and Kate Trejos were named to the All-Tournament team.

PCC Volleyball Opens Season with #18 National Ranking

The 2009 PCC Volleyball season is set to begin with another first for the Beavers, a ranking in the nation’s top twenty teams. Based on the return of six players, including one All-American and three All-Region honorees, Pratt has garnered recognition as one of the nation’s elite programs.

PCC Volleyball Sweeps Garden

For the second time this week, the PCC Volleyball Team swept a conference opponent in three straight sets. On Monday night it was Colby, and on Wednesday it was Garden City, 25-15, 25-22, 25-10. With the win, the Beavers moved into sole possession of third place in the Jayhawk Conference.

PCC Volleyball to Host First Round of Regional Playoffs

The PCC Volleyball Team has earned the home court advantage for the first round of the NJCAA Division I Region VI Tournament. Pratt will host Colby at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, November 5th. This is Pratt’s first year in Division I, and the program’s first year to earn a first round home court match.

PCC Volleyball Fifth in Opening Tournament

The PCC Volleyball Team opened their 2008 season with two wins and three losses this weekend at the New Mexico Military Institute's Fall Classic Tournament. The Beavers' 2-2 pool record advanced them to the playoffs in the ten team tournament. Pratt fell 3-1 to Eastern New Mexico in the first round of the playoffs.
