The new team is on campus and ready for the 2012-2013 season to get under way. This group hopes to continue to build on the success Coach Thompson's teams have built over the last 4 years, winning more games every season under her guidance.

Women's Basketball Graduates Eight

Last Friday, eight women's basketball players walked across the stage of the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena to receive their diplomas from PCC. Athletic Banquet Wraps up Year

Last Wednesday night was the annual Pratt Community College athletic banquet to celebrate the achievements of the teams both on and off the court. The event was hosted by Athletic Director Kurt McAfee and featured guest speaker DanilynnWelniak. Welniak, a sports reporter for KWCH out of Wichita, spoke of her road to becoming a female professional football player.

Team finishes sixth in conference

The women’s basketball season has come to an end with a 61-73 loss at Coffeyville on March 2.
The Beavers jumped out early and played very well through the first half taking a halftime lead of 31-27.

Focus on defense helps Beavers win at Dodge

The Beavers traveled to Dodge City Monday night looking to get things turned around after two straight sub-par outings. Coach Stephanie Thompson’s emphasis in the days leading up to the game was defense, defense and more defense.
