The women’s team was in action twice last week also at Cloud County last Wednesday and hosting Seward less than 48 hours later on Friday afternoon.

Beavers beat Colby 76-56

On Jan. 30 both Pratt Community College basketball teams traveled to Colby for a conference road game. The Beavers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. At the half the Beavers lead 42-30 behind a big first half by Ashri Broadwater of Maywood, Ill.

The women’s team was back in action at home Saturday night against Dodge City. The Beavers looked very much like a team that was playing its third game in five days with limited numbers. Beavers drop to Saints in final minutes

Last night Pratt Community College Women’s Basketball traveled to Seward County for the team’s second conference game.

The Beavers got off to an early start, beginning the game up 7 to 0. The run was sparked by their defense as Pratt forced the Lady Saints into a shot-clock violation on the first possession of the game.
