The new team is on campus and ready for the 2012-2013 season to get under way. This group hopes to continue to build on the success Coach Thompson's teams have built over the last 4 years, winning more games every season under her guidance.

The women’s team was in action twice last week also at Cloud County last Wednesday and hosting Seward less than 48 hours later on Friday afternoon.

Beavers beat Colby 76-56

On Jan. 30 both Pratt Community College basketball teams traveled to Colby for a conference road game. The Beavers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. At the half the Beavers lead 42-30 behind a big first half by Ashri Broadwater of Maywood, Ill.

Beavers lose to Garden City

The Women’s basketball team traveled to Garden City on Wednesday to resume conference play. Another slow start and lack of defense in the first half would set the tone for the remainder of the night.

Women's Basketball Defeat Dodge in OT

The women’s team was back in action at home Saturday night against Dodge City. The Beavers looked very much like a team that was playing its third game in five days with limited numbers. With four players in street clothes on the bench, Pratt’s defense was lethargic and let Dodge get too many easy looks in the first half as they ran to a 43-31 lead at the break. Beavers drop to Saints in final minutes

Last night Pratt Community College Women’s Basketball traveled to Seward County for the team’s second conference game.
 
The Beavers got off to an early start, beginning the game up 7 to 0. The run was sparked by their defense as Pratt forced the Lady Saints into a shot-clock violation on the first possession of the game.
