In 2006, his second season at Pratt, Head Coach Patrick Hall was named Coach of the Year for the Jayhawk West Conference. Before coming to Pratt, Coach Hall founded and directed the largest club program in the Garden Empire Region (NY/NJ) of USAV. His teams earned berths at USAV Nationals every year after their first year as a club. The majority of his 18 Elite players went on to play Division I NCAA ball. Coach Hall took time off from his club duties to coach Division II Bloomfield College in 2002, where he earned Coach of the Year honors. Previously he spent two years as an assistant at North Carolina—Greensboro.
