The Pratt Community College Wrestling Team hosted Labette CC on Wednesday night, but could come up with only one win against the #3 nationally ranked Labette team. Pratt entered the dual ranked #16 in the nation. Labette had 7 of their 10 wrestlers ranked nationally; two of them were ranked #1.
Pratt's lone victory of the night came at 125 lbs, when #8 ranked Tommy Edgmon won a 5-4 decision on riding time. At 197 lbs., #6 ranked Carl Wilkinson lost a heartbreaker in overtime to the 5th ranked Labette wrestler.
On Sunday, Pratt travels to Northern Colorado in Greeley.
