Men's Basketball Bedeviled by Allen County

By:Patrick Hall Sunday, 2 December, 2007

The PCC Men's Basketball Team could not maintain the momentum from Friday night's victory over KCK, resulting in a 90-78 loss to Allen County.

Despite a season high 10 of 23 three pointers for a 43 percent average, the Beavers could not keep up with Allen County's torrid 56 percent from the field and 45 percent from beyond the arc. Pratt also narrowly lost the rebounding battle 35-42, but only committed 15 turnovers.

Pratt's high scorer was Jordan Hammond with 18. Only one other Beaver finished in double figures, Will Collins, who put in 16.

Pratt remained even after the weekend at 6-6. The Beavers travel to Chanute on Wednesday to play Neosho at 7:00. Pratt beat Neosho earlier this season, 80-78.
