The PCC Men's Basketball Team enjoyed a relatively easy start to the Coffeyville Classic on Friday, winning 73-59. With the win the Beavers improve to 6-5 for the season.
Will Collins got into the scoring act with a season high 23 to lead Pratt. Joining Collins is double figures were Jordan Hammond and Alex Rivas-Sanchez with 14 each, and Carlin Whitten with 13. Rivas-Sanchez had a double/double with 10 rebounds.
Pratt lost the rebounding battle 44-37, but won the turnover contest 11 to 19. In a big boost to the offense, Pratt hit 50 percent from beyond the arc. Collins was 5 of 7.
