The Pratt Community College Rodeo Team placed four team members at the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Rodeo last weekend. Seth Hasemann and Alex James were 10th in the team roping out of 99 teams. Julia Patterson was 13th out of 130 barrel racing. Jerad Schlegel was in the top 20 calf ropers out of 101 entries.
“This was a much needed boost for us to end the fall season,” said Head Coach Doug Janke. “After suffering a drought at our home rodeo, we came back with some strong performances. Seth and Alex did a great job finishing in the top ten, and with the number of entries as high as they were, I was pleased with our top twenty finishes as well. We’ve gained some valuable experience this fall, which should serve us well in the spring season.”
This was the last fall rodeo for Pratt. They’ll start again on Feb 22-24 in Manhattan, KS.
