Franklin Earns All-American for Pratt

PCC sophomore Greg Franklin finished sixth in the 200m at the National Indoor Track Meet in Lubbock, TX this weekend. Franklin’s sixth place finished earned him All-American status for the indoor season.

Franklin, along with Curtis King, also ran the 55m and finished 9th, one spot from making the final. King finished 22nd. In the 800m Blake Gordan ran a 2:05 and didn’t make the final.

The 200m was Pratt’s best event, with both Franklin and King making the final and both once again breaking the school record. Franklin ran 21.63, and King posted a 21.75, for 6th and 9th place respectively.
