LaQuisha Wharton and Katasha Bledsoe accounted for two thirds of Pratt's scoring in their second Jayhawk Shootout on Saturday night, but it wasn't enough to offset Johnson's offensive performance, leaving the Beavers with a 70-59 loss.
Wharton, the team's leading scorer with a 20.4 ppg average, had another 20+ night on 10 for 21 from the field, including two of three 3-pointers. Bledsoe was the only other player in double digit scoring with her 17 points on 7 for 17 from the field.
Pratt took care of the ball very well, with a season low 3 turnovers. The teams were even in rebounds, but Johnson enjoyed a 44 to 33 percent shooting advantage, and that difference appeared to be the match.
Pratt will travel to Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa on Wednesday, Dec. 6th for a 6:00 match.
