The Pratt Community College Softball Team received a first round bye and favorable Regionals draw by virtue of finishing first in their West Sub-Region with an 11-4, 34-21 record. The Beavers now move on to this weekend’s Regional Tournament at Two Rivers Softball Complex on Ridge Road in Wichita. Pratt’s first game will be at 11:00 am on Saturday.
Pratt will play the winner of Friday’s Coffeyville vs. Allen County match-up. Pratt was awarded the #3 seed for the tournament. If Pratt wins their first round game, they will play again at 2:30 on Saturday. If they lose the first round, they’ll play again at 12:45.

The Beavers have two other players ranked nationally. Pitcher Kristen Kness has 16 win, 10 loss record and a 1.750 era, placing her 22nd. Second baseman Louisa Escobar is ranked 12th with 25 stolen bases.
