Friday, 15 August, 2008 USA Baseball announced former PCC Beaver standout Terry Tiffee will be among the 24 members of its 2008 U.S. Olympic Baseball Team. Tiffee is currently an infielder/outfielder for the Las Vegas 51s and is the Pacific Coast's League leading hitter. Tiffee had a stellar career at PCC, culminating in a selection to the First Team of the 1999 NJCAA All-America team. He still holds school records for a single season in hits (87), doubles (22), and RBI (87). Also, he holds career records for hits (151), doubles (40) and RBI (148). Tiffee had signed with Louisiana State University prior to being selected in the draft. A 1997 graduate of Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, Arkansas, Tiffee now resides in Little Rock with his wife, Kelli, and their three kids.
