In the Allied Health area, a number of short term courses are offered to provide education for employment in a variety of health care settings. Training prepares students to take state exams for certification.
 
Courses are offered online, ground at PCC campus, evening courses and courses for current high school students.

Students must be 16 years of age or older and are not required to have a high school diploma or GED before being admitted to the program. However, students currently enrolled in high school need permission from their high school.

Submit official copies of your high school transcript and/or transcripts from any college previously attended by downloading the Request for Transcript and providing your information.

Nursing teams scheduled to visit for accreditation next week

Teams from the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission and the Kansas State Board of Nursing will visit Pratt Community College’s campuses in Wichita, Winfield, and Pratt next week. Beginning Oct. 30 accreditors will arrive to begin their review of the PCC Nursing Department.

PCC signs nursing agreement with the University of Kansas

Earning your Bachelors of Science in Nursing after attending Pratt Community College is now even simpler in lieu of an articulation agreement between PCC and the University of Kansas. The agreement, which allows nurses who have completed Pratt’s Associate’s Degree in Nursing program, allows students to transition directly in to KU’s online RN-to-BSN program.
