Electrical Power Technology

Pratt Community College offers one of the most comprehensive Lineman Training programs in the nation. One of only two in the state of Kansas, it offers students a variety of convenient ways to attend classes through on campus courses, distance education and on the job training.

Electrical Power Technology also offers degrees in Applied Science and Job Certification.  The program does not keep a waiting list. The program fills classes on a first come, first served basis. However, classes do fill up quickly and we encourage students to pre-enroll as soon as possible. Information on the course curriculum and descriptions of classes are available through the course catalog or by contacting the Student Services Office at 620-450-2217.
Starting in October, students will interview for spots in the next year's classes, at which time them may enroll for classes for the following fall. Even if classes become full, a waiting list is not kept.
