Solar Power Technology

Students in the solar energy program can take classes both on campus and as a hybrid course in Fall 2012.

The yearlong certificate program, with a paid summer internship, will prepare students for entry level work designing, installing, repairing and maintaining Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems.

The program will prepare students to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Entry Level Solar Photovoltaic Installer exam.
 
Students will be responsible for construction and maintenance of the Pratt Community College Solar Power Technology Mobile Lab.

PCC one step closer to starting solar certificate program

Pratt Community College is still working toward getting a Solar Certificate Program and came one step closer when the president of the college met with the state.

Pratt Community College will be offering solar and wind energy certificate programs for people in the workforce to gain additional skills and knowledge.
