PCC Scholarship Application This application is for scholarships awarded by Pratt Community College

Outside Scholarships Application is made on individual basis for various scholarships. Seek out scholarships from your local community, such as church, civic organizations, health care facilities, etc.
Applications for the following are available in late Spring in the Financial Aid Office at PCC and/or PCC Nursing Department: Delphine Eubank Rotary Christine Dolechek Medical Scholarship (Ellsworth County) Venita Henderson (Pratt BPW members and families)
Kansas Nursing Scholarship Up to $3500/Year. Applicant must locate a sponsor to provide partial funding along with the State of Kansas, and employment upon licensure of the recipient. Applicant must find a sponsor, complete application with appropriate forms and submit to State of Kansas with $10 fee. Priority Deadline is March 15. Applications are available in the Nursing Department and in the Financial Aid Office.
JTPA State Assistance Program available to eligible applicants. Speak to JTPA representative for eligibility requirements. Applications are made through JTPA representative.

Based on previous year's tax information
Complete FAFSA and send to Financial Aid Office at PCC along with signed copies of your tax return and W-2's. Dependent students must submit income information for both students and parents.
Financial Aid will send data electronically, and results will process in a minimum of 3 working days. When received at PCC, the prospective student will receive a tentative award package, based on the results.

Pell Grant Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) Work Study Loan
Loans All students may take out a Guaranteed Student Loan as long as they have completed their file and are eligible according to requirements.
WIA Program and Tuition Assistance for Winflied Nursing Students The Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas provides training and services to residents of Butler, Cowley, Harper, Kingman, Sedgwick and Sumner Counties. This is accomplished by a partnership of employment and training provider agencies working together to better serve businesses and individuals in South Central Kansas. Workforce investment programs are designed to help you get a job, finish your education, obtain a degree or skilled profession and upgrade your wage potential, regardless of barriers that you may have to overcome.
The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program is a federally funded program that can assist customers to attend school in a demand occupational field, in an educational program that can be completed in two years or less. It also has to be with a school that is on our provider list.
The WIA Program is split into two separate programs: The Adult and Dislocated Worker. The Dislocated Worker Program is designed for customers who are laid off from employment due to reduction of workforce or plant closure or simply may be a Homemaker who has been dependent on the income of another family member but is no longer supported by income and is unemployed or underemployed. The Adult Worker Program is designed for customers who may or may not be employed. They might be an applicant who meets low income guidelines, single wage earner not making a self sufficient wage, past employment in a declining industry, has physical limitations, needs basic skills to gain employment, shows a financial need for assistance with training, or needs to get recertified to upgrade skills to obtain employment.
