Student Admissions Representatives Accepting Applications

Pratt Community College is currently seeking students to serve as Student Admissions Representatives. This is the third year of the program, and spaces are now available for students who want to learn about public relations, event promotion, recruiting and mentoring. 

Student Admissions Representatives assist with admissions recruiting events such as Beaver Building Days, orientations and open houses, and personalize the college visit experience by making visitors feel welcome and comfortable at the college. They are knowledgeable about all facets of Beaver life, including academic programs, faculty and students, facilities, social opportunities, and student services. 

Applicants should be comfortable with public speaking, willing to share personal testimonies and be able to work well with others and represent the college in a positive manner at all times. Student Admissions Representatives dedicate approximately 45-50 hours of volunteer work per semester, and receive special training, PCC polos, business cards, and the opportunity to develop leadership skills, contacts with PCC administrators, and the communication skills and confidence vital to success in job interviews and career advancement.

Full-time, campus-based students who maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and are in good standing with the college are eligible to apply. Applicants must provide two non-family references using the specified form and submit their completed application to admissions@prattcc.edu
