Volleyball Places Three on All-Conference Team
The PCC Volleyball Team placed three players on the Jayhawk West All-Conference Team for 2010. Skyline High School standout, Natali Jones, was named the Freshman of the Year, as well as First Team All-Conference. Volleyball Makes History with First Conference Crown
For the first time in PCC history, the Beavers have won the Jayhawk Conference Division I Championship. By beating Colby on Wednesday night, Pratt settled the conference race for good, sending Colby into fifth place by virtue of a 22-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-18 win. Pratt will be the #1 seed in the Regional Tournament and will play the winner of Colby vs. Barton. Read more »

Volleyball Runs into Missouri Grizzlies
After rattling off six straight wins, the PCC Volleyball Team ran into the MSU-West Plains Grizzlies this weekend, and the result wasn’t pretty. The Beavers fell on Friday 0-3 and on Saturday 1-3. PCC remains in first place in the Jayhawk Conference at 10-1, but is now 15-14 overall.

The PCC Volleyball Team travelled to Dodge City on Thursday for a matchup between two 9-1 teams and a claim to first place in the Jayhawk Conference. The PCC Volleyball Team kept their conference winning streak alive with a sweep of Barton County on Monday night: 26-24, 25-19, 25-22. On a night when not much was going right for PCC, Hannah Melichar and Natali Jones provided enough offensive to make sure the number one Pratt Beavers did not fall to the number seven Cloud Thunderbirds. Jones Named Jayhawk Player of the Week
Skyline graduate Natali Jones was named the Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week for Sept 13-19, after several career high matches over the weekend in Texas. Jones not only helped Pratt sweep Hutchinson on Wednesday, but also powered Pratt to a 3-1 record and second place finish at the North Central Texas Tournament in Gainesville.

Volleyball Takes Second at North Central Tournament
Last year the PCC Volleyball Team travelled to Gainesville, Texas, having a #14 ranking and a chance to break into the top ten. They came away empty-handed with a 0-4 record, and promptly dropped their ranking. This year Pratt is unranked, but the team’s 3-1 record and second place finish might move them into consideration.
