Pratt Community College announces their hours for the Summer.

Summer hours begin Monday, May 21 and will extend through Friday, July 27. Operating business hours will be  7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Performing arts presents, "A Christmas to Remember" Dec. 8-10

Pratt Community College’s Performing Arts department will have the annual Christmas show to help kick off the season on Dec. 8-10.

‘A Christmas to Remember,’ will feature two extraordinary acts encompassing all of your favorite holiday tunes and the true meaning of Christmas.

The show will feature solos, duets, the ensemble and full community choir. There will also be children’s numbers.

“It promises to be a fun show with the classic favorites and also some new music,” said Misty Beck, show director.

Performing arts presents, "A Night on Broadway" Oct. 20-22

On Oct. 21-22  Pratt Community College Performing Arts department will be presenting ‘A Night on Broadway’.

The show is the department’s annual musical Review show, which features music from dozens of Broadway classics and modern shows. This years show will feature a variety of broadway tunes from Camelot to Addams Family to Les Miserables. It will feature solos, duets, the ensemble and full choir. There will also be children’s numbers.

Sweetheart Dinner and Concert Feb. 11

To celebrate the weekend of love, the Pratt Community College musical group Encore! will be holding a Sweetheart Dinner and Concert in honor of Valentine's Day.

The dinner and show will be Saturday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in Carpenter Auditorium. Enjoy dinner and dessert while being serenaded by Encore! featuring love songs from a variety of genres including solos, duets and ensembles.

Tickets for Dinner and the Show are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Reservations are suggested!

Pratt county schools come together for concert

The Pratt Community College Performing Arts Department will host the County Wide Choral Extravaganza on March 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Carpenter Auditorium.

The concert will showcase the musical talents of Pratt county students from PCC and Skyline High School. During the evening, the choirs will sing separately and together, with additional performances by their show choirs.

“It gives all the high school and college students in Pratt County a chance to sing together and create a sense of camaraderie,” said J.J. Rupe, PCC music instructor.
