- Advice for prospective students
Being an Electrical Power Lineman is a hard way to make a living. The hours are long, the weather is bad, and your wife and kids will miss seeing you. This isn’t 9 to 5 so don’t get in it if you are looking for that, this is a job.
With all that said, this is the greatest job in the world. We make a difference in everyone’s daily lives. When you throw a switch and a 100,000 people get light back, for that moment you will feel proud you are a lineman.
